Visited Purgatory resort March 2017. Was my first time skiing so I rented my gear from them and they were very helpful. The mountain itself has plenty of green slopes for a beginner to shred. Would definitely recommend!

Best family friendly resort in Colorado and no lift lines! Great variety of terrain for all skiing and boarding abilities. Still has a great local vibe and fun on mountain food options with epic views.

Purgatory is where I've gone the most # of times & it's always a blast. There are many others I'd like to go to, but this one's close enough to drive to & snow conditions are usually good. Terrain is versatile for all levels of skiers.
