Is very resorty, which could be a positive or a negative depending on your preference. Overall, a great intermediate resort with adequate options for beginners and advanced skiiers. Amazing all around resort, tree skiing on a powder day is top notch, parks are progressive, plenty of groomed trails. Base and mid lodging makes for nice breaks to get some food.

Great powder; terrain park, and lifts. Lines are not typically to long. If they are; ski to another lift as there are tons of runs to take at NorStar. Gets some of the best snow fall in the area too!

It's the Perfect place for skiing and stay . We been going there for 20 years . Love what they have done to place . It's easy to get on chair and go to slopes

Did not like notion to pay extra to get decent wait time or the need to use a tow to go across the mountain. The resort amenities are great but rather expensive. Trails on the easier side.

Not the best Terrain for the more advanced, but one of (if not) the best parks in the Tahoe Region, and most of the USA. Great family atmosphere, with lots of local riders and best of all, it's part of the Epic Pass. :)

North star is one of my favorite resorts to hit up in Tahoe, it has runs for everybody from beginners to advanced. Each run takes you a while to get down, gets you time to get creative with your run.

Best place to go in California and hang out with your family. Had an awesome father daughter trip last season great place for beginners and advanced skiers and boarders. Northstar is the best!
