Learn more about Seven Springs Mountain Resort

Pros
  • Plenty of powder-filled glades to explore between the groomed trails

  • 200 ac of the mountain is floodlit for night skiing
Cons
  • Activities and amenities offered by the resort are a little pricey

Overall

4.4

Roughly an hour's drive from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Seven Springs has as much to offer on the slopes as it does off the mountain. Being in the East, the snow conditions can be lacking but when the snow gods deliver, the mostly mellow terrain, and some more difficult spots can provide plenty of fun. After a day on the slopes, be sure to grab a drink at Foggle Goggle!

This is a great resort to go to if you're only trapped within the local proximity. This does the trick for your fixing on a nice snow day. However if it did not snow in the last 24 hours be prepared to ride... More

We go every weekend. There's a few hotels off site to save some money. Along with extra dining options. My favorite runs are on the North face side. Buffet dinners Friday and Saturday. Helen's is a must do dinner option. ... More

The staff is friendly and the trails are generally well groomed but their terrain parks are unlike anything on the east coast! The ally and the sheets are fantastic for progression!

Hidden Valley is where I learned to ski. Seven springs is the neighbor down the street where I spend most of my time now. From top to bottom and everything in between..... no complaints.

It is close to home, but not as close as Snowshoe, however the drive is easier.
