Overall

4.1

Revelstoke has obvious stoke factor, with the biggest vertical in North America at 5,620 ft, and 3,121 ac of skiing including two high alpine bowls and 65 thigh burningly long trails. Revelstoke Mountain Resort is also the only resort in the world to offer lift-accessed resort skiing plus cat skiing, heli-skiing and backcountry skiing all emanating from one ski resort base. In fact, Revelstoke is the capital of heli-skiing in BC, Canada and the globe for that matter. Just off the Trans Canada Highway, Revelstoke is home to the humbling ski resort plus Revelstoke Cat Skiing and Selkirk Tangiers Heli-Skiing -giving skiers and snowboarders access to a total of 515,000 ac of diverse terrain and options in all kinds of weather from snowy white outs when helicopters can't fly or lifts can't run, but cats can. Plus there are numerous other cat ski and heli-ski outfits in Revelstoke including Eagle Pass Heli-Ski, Mica, and CMH to name a few.

I like it quite a lot, it’s a lot of fun but I only go there with friends who own beacons . Quite long to get there from Vancouver if you don’t want to take the plane though! If only a reasonably priced train was an option!... More

I really liked Revelstoke Mountain Resort. Not much going on around outside of the resort. The snow was great a couple of the advanced trails were icy when I was there but I enjoyed my days there.... More

The best mountain in North America. Long tree runs, plenty of snow, quiet slopes. I've ridden across most of North America and this is still my favorite place to go. It's not really close to a major airport but it just means it's not crowded. If you get a chance to go you should. It's not a resort for beginners but if you've got some experience and... More

Huge mountain, wildest intermediate groomers, top to bottom, miles and miles, amazing views from the top with regular inversion in the Columbia valley. Trees on the ripper would be a highlight. Epic.... More

Big, high, impressive mountain! To get to the first runs you need to take the first gondola that gets you out of the village. There you'll find the beginners' and kid's hill, and a couple runs that lead back to the village. If you want to enjoy the whole mountain, you've got to take the 2nd gondola! Great lift map, easy to see what goes where.... More

Excellent mountain with many advanced runs. Not too good for a beginner because even on the green runs there are people who are advanced riders riding on it to get to the more challenging terrain, this causes the green runs to become crowded and hard to learn on.... More

I have to be honest.... I only got to ride one day. I got injured at the pool. I did get caught in a minor slide that was set off by a skier up hill of me. It was bit spooky. The hill seemed super great though. I really do need to get back!... More
