4.3

Less than 2 hours drive from Los Angeles, Mountain High is one of the most visited resorts in South California. The small mountain is often compared to Bear Mountain, although is less focused on terrain parks and is much more suitable for beginners and families. The only thing that might disappoint skiers here the variable conditions due to lower snowmaking capacity.

Probably the most accessible board/ski site in Southern California. Requires no mountain driving and has a relatively cheap set of options for lift tickets and rentals. Great place for beginners to learn without dropping too much money. Snow conditions can be rather poor if you go outside of peak season though.... More

Mountain high is nothing too special, and it is definitely more geared towards lower skill levels. The snow is never too great because Southern California tends to not get as much snow. A lot of the slopes tend to be icy which can make it difficult to learn, however mountain high has some of the easiest slopes that are very beginner friendly. There... More

My partner and I visited for the first time yesterday. It was a 1.75 HR drive for us to get there. The traffic up the one way road was not great. As you near the resort you will see many many cars parked along the side of the road doing their own sledding. These people are not cheap, these people are smart. (As you will see). So we got up there... More

They have an outdoor stage with a live band and outgoing atmosphere. Really enjoyed my time here and will be back.... More
