A wonderfully powdered palace of fun! The runs are long, fun, and adventurous. I'd love to go back and spend a season exploring it, but it's so hard when Japan has so many amazing places to explore. Great mountain and amazing snow quality! Very dry and powdery conditions are frequent in this Iwate resort. It offers a few hotels with good onsen and good food. Yeah, APPI it's a great place. It's got just about everything you need, but you'll have to pay for it. Really good runs, but don't veer off the beaten track because they have cameras installed under the lifts and the snow patrol (no pun intended) will be on you faster than goose shit through a tin funnel.
