Located roughly 3 hours drive from DC, Wisp in Maryland is a small resort that offers a good mix of terrain with just enough suit all abilities. The good natural snow and solid snowmaking coverage are also a bonus. To top it off, the abundance of après ski options make it a worthwhile weekend getaway.

Wisp is a great resort for beginner to advanced snowboarders. I personally feel like it is more geared towards a newer rider because the terrain park is very small and the mountain is predominately beginner slopes but. All in all wisp is a great resort for any rider trying to have a good time... More

Plenty of natural snow. They could blow more snow when it's cold and cover more of the mountain. And they need a better website with up to date info. For example, when it snows, they need videos and recent photos showing this like other resorts do.
