It might be small but Ski Butternut is the perfect resort for beginners looking to taking their skiing to the next level. The family-friendly resort in the Berkshires is mostly dominated by intermediate terrain which includes fantastic progression trails for beginners. On top of the great snowmaking here, the resort offers great value lift tickets compared to bigger resorts up north with midweek lift passes going for just $25! After a day on the slopes, head over to the little town of Great Barrington for dining and lodging options.
