Among the reasons to ski Loon are, the most snowmaking in NH, the most lodging options in the skiers’ town of Lincoln, and three unique mountain peaks to ski. Loon is NH's second-largest ski resort, with Bretton Woods being the biggest. With over 370 ac spread across three peaks served by 12 lifts, Loon has lots to offer skiers and riders from long groomed boulevards to tight tree-lined trails that twist and turn down the mountain, and several edgy terrain parks.

Loon is FANTASTIC. Nestled in the White Mountains of NH, offers fantastic views of the snowcapped peaks. Quite accessible from Boston, Portland or anywhere in New England. The atmosphere is fun, Bunyun room is fantastic. The snow quality groomers run awesome and with fresh snow it really opens up. My favorite place in NH for sure.... More

Loon is a pretty rad spot located in New Hampshire. Definitely has the best parks in the state. They have a huge focus on park building and it shows. The mountain also has a ton of trail options for non jibbers and jumpers. Fun for all in New England!... More

Loon is a nice big mountain, but it tends to draw a crowd, and a bit more of the crowd that flocks (pun intended) to ski resorts in their Land Rovers and Mercedees, more concerned about the apres and the groomers than the powder and the trees. I've been there for half price Sunday afternoons mostly because I'm a dirt bag skier.... More

Very accessible resort with gorgeous groomed slopes off the Kangamangus highway in NH. The town of North Conway has great lodging and restaurants nearby as well. Great for families, and beginner/intermediate skiiers. Park also top notch. Advanced/Expert skiiers may find themselves bored by few challenging trails and glades are hit or miss with... More

Going there as a kid, I only have good memories. The trails were typically well maintained and the staff was always friendly and available to help. I would definitely come back sometime.

Loon is a favorite for the terrain because it too has a little bit of everything. The gondola helps on cold days. Their blue terrain is worthy of caution and the black diamonds will give you a thrill. The view from the top looking toward Mount Washington is stunning.
