Super small mountain with an awesome vibe. Super cool seeing people skiing and snowboarding so far away from the "normal" places people do that, and the intimate size makes it feel like a backyard hill.... Moreadvanced snowboarder

The Cat is awesome! Small but it hits home when you need a place to ski in western NC. Small compared to Colorado’s resorts, but who can complain at under 70 for a day ticket. Crowded, icy, and very hard to access, but overall an awesome resort that really is one of a kind.... Moreexpert skier

Not the fanciest place, but they certainly make the snow whenever they get a chance! Since this is the southeast they cater to the beginner crowd, but it's a great place to ski or ride if you live in the southeast as a warm up to bigger mountains.
