The Cat is awesome! Small but it hits home when you need a place to ski in western NC. Small compared to Colorado’s resorts, but who can complain at under 70 for a day ticket. Crowded, icy, and very hard to access, but overall an awesome resort that really is one of a kind.... More

Not the fanciest place, but they certainly make the snow whenever they get a chance! Since this is the southeast they cater to the beginner crowd, but it's a great place to ski or ride if you live in the southeast as a warm up to bigger mountains.
