With no crowds (except holidays), diverse terrain and just a 2-2.5 hour drive from New York City, Montage Mountain is an ideal resort for those looking for a quick ski fix. Best of all, it has some of the steepest slopes in Pennslyvania, considering there aren't many around. The lift tickets are relatively inexpensive and the drinks and food at the lodge are known to be quite good.

Montage Mountain is one of the best ski resorts in the area! They have great weekly specials, and are very catering to skiers of all abilities. The lodge is never overly crowded.
