Snowbasin Resort is by far one of the best ski areas in Utah. The majority of skiers go to Deer Valley, Park City and Snowbird - that one aspect alone makes Snowbasin great, just 10 minutes further (45 minutes total) from Salt Lake City it’s a skier’s gem.

I first hit the slopes of snow basin in 2001. Their slopes are amazing. Since then I have taken my 3 kids there to learn how to ski. Their bunny hill rocks. Less crowded than the Cottonwoods resorts, great high speed lifts and a wide variety of terrain. It's a little pricey, but most are. I personally prefer the Ogden area over the others.... More
