Cardrona was amazing for me as a beginner skier. There are plenty of expansive green runs and approachable blues so I had plenty of chance to develop my confidence. On a spring Saturday that started off a little unpleasant but became fine, there was no problem with crowds at all. Cardrona is easily accessible from Wanaka and Queenstown which are... More

Cardrona is a fantastic skihill with slopes and park for any level of skier or snowboarder. They’ve got modern lifts (comparing it to other skihills in new zealand, not to talk about europe). You can reach the mountain easily from either Queenstown or Wanaka by car or shuttle, depending on roadconditions and your own preferences. Rental facilities... More

Great destination. Great terrain and staff if you require any assistance. If you're from Australia, it is a great trip to get away from your usual snow destination. The great view and landscape of Queenstown is a great bonus!... More

A great resort situated between Queenstown & Wanaka New Zealand. After an epic drive up a twisting gravel road you reach the base resort with lodge accommodation and restaurants. Skifield is split between two areas the main part of the resort with beginners areas and long runs with high speed lifts back to the top. Cadronna also boasts the best... More
