Overall

4.3

The only real ski destination in New Mexico, Taos' steep slopes and fun backcountry are a haven for advanced and expert skiers. On the other hand, beginners and freestylers might be disappointed by the lack of variety here. Regardless of the weather conditions, the resort generally holds powder well and will have good packed snow in between storms. Just note, there are tons of cliff zones all over the mountain so don't cut the ropes.

Step back on n time where the ski area is all about the sport, small lift lines, unbelievable terrain, and wonderful food. The new owner ruined the hiking terrain by installing a lift to Kachina, but for all you folks that don't like to hike for freshies will enjoy..... More

Taos is awesome, and if you think NM can't rock some good skiing and riding you would be painfully wrong. Stoked as a rider I am able to ride here for so many reasons. The trees are incredible and there are so many places to get the heart going. They also have some decent parks for a place that just started participating in that area of the... More

Toas is AWESOME! Toas Ski valley is my favorite place that i have skied. Some things you should know before you go... the terrain available to ski is going to be a little more advanced than your average resort. The easy runs may feel like intermediate runs. This is a plus from my perspective. ... More
